PACK 696 - Kickball Belt Loop Bizarre on August 2nd at FUMC in Dickinson

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to touch base with you guys about August 2, Summertime Event.

Since we are not able to have the vendors and rummage sale and BBQ, I thought we could just keep it simple.

I have a Beltloop sheet made up for each scout who registers that morning which lists the requirements. We can check them off as the scouts complete them. I made 20 copies already. If we  need more, let me know. One belt loop might not sound like much, but for the time we have, it will allow the scouts to learn the rules, practice the skills, and have time to enjoy playing.

Saturday, August 2

 9:45  -  Registration in gym
10:00 - 12:00  - Kickball ( Learn rules, practice skills, play kickball)
12:00 - 12:30   - Snacks and Door Prizes

Wear Pack 696 T-Shirt and bring bottled water.

JULY 4TH PARADE - CUB SCOUT INFO

Hello All Cub Scouts,

A reminder about the July 4th Parade...

Time: 8:30 am (line up starts at 8 am, but 8:30 is the latest you want to get there)
Location:  Meet at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson
               4613 Hwy 3, Dickinson, TX 77539

Other Info:  Wear Class A's (blue cub scout uniform shirt) with Neckerchiefs, and hats, etc.  Parade leaves at 9 am and heads south on Hwy 3 to the VA.  Its a short walk or bike ride.  Your Cub can ride their bike, walk, or even use a motorized car like my kids did in the past.

Make sure your Cub decorates their bike, or brings a flag if they are walking.  We will walk/ride as a group.

After the parade, the VA is having hot dogs for 25 cents each (or so I've been told) at their park grounds behind the VA.  Stay a while and have some fun.

If you have questions, Call Robert Bragg at 832.534.0625.

THANKS,
ROBERT M. BRAGG
