PACK 696 UPDATE!!

Hi again,

Here's the latest info for our pack. At tomorrow's den meetings, we will have a special Red Ribbon Week presentation from a K-9 police officer. Den leaders, please plan about 20 minutes for the presentation.

The camping trip planned for Nov 2-4 will have to be moved because Brazos Bend couldn't accommodate our MASSIVE group of 130+ people that weekend. We're working on rescheduling the trip for a later date. We're so sorry to disappoint you. :(

If you went to Bobcat in the Park and earned your Bobcat Badge, please let your den leader know tomorrow night and he/she will make sure to get your Scout their award at the next pack meeting. Summertime awards will also be handed out then. Scouts are invited to wear Halloween costumes to the Pack meeting on Oct. 30.

A HUGE thank you to Courtney and Katherine, this year's popcorn fundraising chairs. These ladies have worked tirelessly counting money, organizing orders, and setting up Show and Sells for the benefit of our pack and our boys. We are so grateful for your help!

The pack leadership team is overwhelmed with planning for campouts, events, and tracking paperwork and membership forms. If you can offer any assistance in any of these areas, please talk to Joe, our Pack Committee Chair, tomorrow night. A well-run pack functions with 7-9 committee members (aside from Den Leaders), and currently, our pack only has 3. We could really use some help coordinating camping, working on the unit recharter paperwork and planning for Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Banquet.
