Hello Pack 696!
This is Robert Bragg, the Wolf Den Leader! Bayou Realtors is putting together its Christmas "Hay Ride" Float for the Rotary Christmas Parade, and is inviting all of Pack 696 to join us on the float.
The parade starts at the True Cross Catholic Church on 517 East in Dickinson, and it ends at the Dickinson City Hall Complex. Note, this is different than last year, where it ended at Amegy Bank.
The float line-up starts at 6:00pm. I suggest Cubs and Akela's arrive by 6:30 pm, and no later than 6:45pm. The parade starts at 7:00pm.
The trailer will hold a big group. However, if we get too full, then the Cub Scouts and other Children will ride the trailer, and the adults will need to walk. We need at least 4 adults (2 each side) walking along side the trailer.
Please bring at least 2 bags of candy per child (and adult) for throwing out candy to the spectators. Warning...make sure you regulate how much candy your kid throws, or it won't last long.
Its a good idea to carpool, and take 2 cars, leaving one at the end of the parade. You might also want to bring some blankets to lay on the hay for comfort. I'm not sure how many people will show up, so we might have to make adjustments.

If you have any questions, please call Robert Bragg at 832.534.0625. Please join us...its a lot of fun!
Thanks,
Robert M. Bragg
